Gaza Freedom March

On December 31st, 2009, people from around the world will link arms with the people of Gaza on the one year anniversary of the Israeli assault. We, Marie-Aude and Sylvie, members of the Belgian delegation, organized by the ABP (association belgo-palestinienne) will take part of the march.
We will leave from Cairo, cross into Gaza (Rafah), and participate in a massive, non-violent march to the Israeli border to end the blockade.

The International Coalition to End the Illegal Siege of Gaza formed after Israel's 22-day assault on Gaza in winter 2008-09.
To mark the one year anniversary of the Israeli attack the coalition is mobilizing an international contingent for a nonviolent march alongside the people of Gaza on December 31, 2009 in order to end the illegal blockade.
The coalition conceives this march as part of a broader strategy to end the Israeli occupation by targeting nonviolently its flagrant violations of international law from the house demolitions and settlements to the curfews and torture.
